I'm amazed how much different the colour on ths looks compared with sworrall's estate pic above.

I guess lighting / camera angles etc also make a difference, and it just re-emphasises how important it is to see a car in the flesh to really make a decision.

Guy's many thanks for all your replies, the order has been placed for a Storm Blue L&K with the light grey leather :) not gonna be here till the end of July though. Popped into another dealer and saw a L&K in the exact same colours and loved it.
You sir have fine tastes!

Been enjoying my L&K in the same colours since mid March... looks "professional" with bad weather and classy with the sun.

I wasn't over keen on having the grey leather to start with coz I thought the carpets would be light grey too, but they're black and only an insert in the door cards are light grey, so I can live with that, roll on July :)
You know, it's funny. The carpet being black with just a small outline in light grey was actually what tipped me over in favour of the L&K. I dreaded light carpeting...

Yes been there and paid the valeting bill for having beige carpets in my first Octy, having 3 kids doesn't help either :D The elegance I have at the moment is much better for general wear and tear from the kids but I miss the L&K so thats why the change and also I do 20K miles a year too

My L&K is here! Blue Storm/Light Leather. The door inserts are leather too, so no light grey fabric bits to attempt to keep clean. The leather is a little lighter in colour than I was expecting, but certainly looks striking. With the piano black inserts there's almost an art-deco look to the doors.

I'll get some pics up tomorrow.

I have gone for the light leather with black magic and tinted windows. I think it will be spot on, I can't wait for your pics as the only example I have is the L&K brochure :D

Some quick happy snaps of the new skud..

I know a few of you are deliberating over colour choices, so if you want larger copies or photos of certain bits then let me know.

very nice lem, the minimal grey goes very nice with the black.

could you do a pic of the lighted door handles that has been talked about on here and the sill protectors? ta

The illuminated door handles. Ooh.. i've not noticed them before, that's cool.

Just been to the dealer as they forgot to put my sat nav disc in the pack, and got the iTMC enabled one. Yay!

I am confused about the colour of leather available for the latest L&K. I have ordered onyx, which I believe to be the only alternative to cream. Are the seats in both cases all leather or leather and suede. Are other colours available?

eh? Never knew any Skoda had that!

Pics?

No, I had trouble convincing the ordering people not to order cream. It's no longer available - it's what the pre-week7 L&K had as standard. You get full 'light leather' as standard which is what I have above, or you can have onyx which I believe comes in full and leather/alcantara options.

I've got rid of the floor mats that the dealer put in after finding the proper L&K ones in the boot. They are black with light grey piping.

The illuminated door handles are light by a small white LED in the bottom of handles recess. I'll try and get some pics at night.

Just about to order a L&K 2.0TDI Estate DSG. Anyone got any opinions about These 3 colours I am thinking of having Your opinions would be appreciated

1 Flaminco Red

2 Race Blue

3 Anthricite Grey

heres your list narrowed slightly as the race blue is for the VRS only

1 Flaminco Red

2 Anthricite Grey

Personally I prefer the grey as its a great colour on the octavia but the red is nice too. dont see as may of the reds on the road

That interior looks stunning - but would never have considered it from the brochures alone! Lovely motor mate. :)

Either way make sure you see these on a rel life Octy before ordering.

Grey looks very good.

If you are going for the grey leather, then I would personally go for anthracite over red. I think you need a dark colour to balance the reasonably bright interior.

I've just taken delivery of an Elegance in Antracite - there's some pictures on one my recent threads if it helps....

A Skoda salesman said to me that taki drivers often go for the red as it provides a good contrast for their advertising graphics!

As others have said, see both in the flesh and see which appeals most - definitely don't base a decision on brochure or Skoda web site colours.

I'd even add to that the painted panels in the showroom too. My dealers looks very different to my Anthracite Grey! It look lighter and bluer on their painted panels, and not a colour I liked the look of.

Then they found one out back that was in for a service in Graphite. "It's close to that" they said, but I insisted on seeing an Anracite in the flesh. They got one in from Skoda especially as I was ready to sign there and then if it was the right colour.

Personally I think Antracite looks much better than Graphite. There is a very noticeable diffence! I think you noted that too, didnt you Glen?

Yes, the Graphite grey is quite a bit lighter than Antracite. I test drove a second hand Elegance in Graphite and in the dealer's showroom was a new Elegance in Antracite. I'm really pleased now I went for a new one in Antracite rather than secondhand in Graphite!

Hi All thanks for the advice on colours SWMBO and I went to see the real colours and have picked the following TWO

1 Storm Blue

2 Flamenco red

Going back tomorrow to order.Hope one is available asap if not factory order

Lem, did you ever manage to pic the illuminated handles?

If Lem doesn't I may have a go tonight. The light must be a single white LED just where the handle goes into the door trim.

Sorry.. I didn't envisage anyone being too interested in the illuminated door handles (it's just a little white led in the bottom). I'll take a pick when I'm next out in the dark with it!

Lem, I've done some pics and posted them on a thread of their own! But I'm no David Baley so you may get some better shots in the dark than I did!
