Hello there!

Featured Replies

After a few weeks of looking from afar as a guest, and then joining as a member in December I have finally got round to saying hello :) . I am fairly new to the net, which probably added to my shyness to talk :sofahide: !

Skodawise, I am on my 2nd Octy vRS; an '03 silver hatch which is currently standard with 9000 on the clock. I know it is preaching to the converted, but what a great car! I recommend it to anyone who cares to listen, and also those that don't :D .

I live in Kent (hello KentStu and Kentish), which I have realised is not a million miles away from Jabba Sport. Hmmm...... :rubchin:

See you soon! Sutts.

Hi Sutts, welcome to Briskoda...

Once you do pluck up courage to start looking at mods you will get loads of GOOD advice and encouragement from the forums here :D

Dave

Hello Sutts, belated welcome.

Hello Sutts, welcome to Briskoda.

May I point you in the direction of the National meet at Bruntingthorpe. See the banner at the top left of the page for more details.

Welcome Sutts !

DON'T go to Jabba! Once you have sampled how much extra performance you can have for so little outlay, you will be well on your way down that slippery slope. Unless you are like me, of course, and have enormous willpower (and a SWMBO who can read my mind from the next room...........:( )

PS I haven't given up on getting Jabba's electronic boost controller on the grounds that I can revert the car to normal for her (whilst getting some extra grunt for me....:) )

:jumpsmile Hello mate - more power to the Kent posse on BriSkoda :headbang:

Sutts where about in Kent you from as I used to live near Madistone and still go back there alot as I have family there. Maybe have a mini Kent meet ? I can plan something if people are interested ?

I know Rooboy will pop down if he is free as he lives down the road from me in Essex.

Thanks for the welcome fellas :handshke:

Chavyboy, I am in the Maidstone area myself. Quite a few Skodas around the place, but not many (any?) that appear non-standard. The only one I've ever seen was a black 51 plate vRS that was for sale up at Sherwood Garage in Gillingham about 4 months ago. It was sporting Briskoda decals and the salesman said it was circa. 250 bhp.

Cool, fancy meeting up in Maidstone some time with a few others ?

Then pop down the Malter Inn for a drink !

Hi Sutts, the Black Beast can still be seen at some of the meets...as can the owner who flirted with the luxury barge, then defected back to the dark side again.

Myself...Medway here (the London side of the river), not far from the tunnel.

Do I need to dress like a 20 yr old looking for a fight?

Malta Inn a good choice - parking for 100s of Skuds. Oh, and the extensive range of hop-based drinks.

Medway you say? I used to work in Rochester. A city with a dark side.

Only if you want to but I am an old git so I wouldn't know.

OK I will start a meeting thread to see if we can get a few people to pop down for a meet ?

OK then, it used to be when I was way younger...

But yes, a meet at the Malta sounds good. A drink by the water side would be nice.
