Professional Broadcast Vision engineers ALL agree that CRT looks the best and most like the source material. But now that we want bigger tellys we have to decide between LCD and Plasma. I personally prefer Plasma by a country mile, mainly because of the warmer look and true blacks, but some people prefer the LCD look.

But if you can wait, the SED telly is almost here. It combines slim appearance, very low power consumption, the pixel count of LCD, the superb colour and lack of lag that a CRT has and will initially cone in 50

Looks like after some consideration I'll be getting the 42" as the 50 might be just a tad too big for the room.

tv's in, had fun tryin to get it home wedged on the back seats of the vRS! Luckily i didnt get the 50inch!

My 42" arrived today as well. I too am glad we didn't get the 50"!!

Only problem is mine is quite badly damaged and I'll have to wait for wednesday for a replacement.
