Oh I'd like to add one of those to my car. Which year and model of Golf has these so I can begin my search of car breakers?

It's from a mk4 (98ish to 04ish I think) It tends to be in higher spec cars but as far as I know it was an option on most so it's best to just have a look in and see! Mine was from a v6 4motion, some of the 'lesser' models have a cloth top rather than leather.

I can't answer your question, but it's worth trying to see how it mounts, it may be that you could use an octavia mount (or modified golf one as I have) along with the A3 armrest. The mounting foot is about
