Cosmetic Mod

Featured Replies

Not having a great deal of spare cash following my recent nuptuals I have been keeping the modding bug alive by doing a few cheap cosmetic mods.

Fellow Briskodians unwanted Engine Cover -

looks tidy :)

Nice idea, but have to say its not something I would consider myself.

Just a shame about the paint runs... :(

Good effort though!

Gonna have a go at removing them with some light sanding and a fresh can of paint as the nozzle kept blocking on the first one causing sporadic burst of paint in concentrated areas

Sorry mate, but that looks f***ing awful..

In fact the more i look the worst it gets.. the runny silverpaint with that uneven cheap looking sticky back fake carbon, then the skoda badge slapped right in the centre!!

ffs put the old one back on.

Little bit harsh, dont think it looks that bad! :) I personally would have probably kept the original, but each to their own.

If I had said this,I would have got slated........( resists urge to name call )

Not to my taste, but, hey, each to their own

I think you should have saved yourself 25 squid and left it alone. I agree fit the old one back on

Well im already on a warning so after this it could be goodbye for good..

But this is a forum; he has put up a thread and is waiting opinions.

I’m not being personally insulting to him, just being honest.

I don’t giggle/gossip behind anyones back..Open forums would be a lot more genuine if we cut the BS and say it as we see it.

i think it looks great... ;) bit of a b!tch to keep clean i would imagine tho.. :D

Not to my own personal taste........ I reckon it'd look better reversed sort of..... Main part left standard but the shiny section around the badge painted silver.......

But hey each to their own... I'm sure there's stuff on my car that i love but others would hate......

Cheers

Dave.

You've just been Nuptured have you?

Congrats, but the glow can't have lasted long, if you are now spending time messing about with your car, instead of your wife.

( joke, honest!)

Only person who it matters to is yourself, and you like it so was worthwhile. good value too i might add, very ingenious, and thats impressive.

You started the thread..

You’ve gone through the procedure, the cost and added pictures.

And you didn’t want any replies (comments, feedback) what so ever?

Well if that’s what ya saying…it’s a lie.
