Fabia VRS 1.8T

Featured Replies

doesnt the current polo GTI have the 1.8T....

yes.

a 1.8T still won't fit a Fabia without lots and lots of work but hey, as usual people will ignore me :)

and then there would be the electrcal nightmare:D

Isn't that all part of the fun of doing something like that though?

yes it is,but most who would do this sort of thing have no idea, take it to a specialist and are suprised when it costs over 1k,i am not knocking people who do this sort of thing, just pointing out some of the difficulties, tbh it is somthing i have thaught about and may tackle in the future:thumbup:

and the original sugestion was that because the fabia and polo are similar it would be an easy swap.

the fabia obviously doesn't share teh same floor pan as the new polo as the 1.8T fits in that, the older polo's like ross had could take a 1.8T because they had a different floor pan to the normalpolo and as a result were a couple inch's wider so wide enough for a 1.8T to simply bolt in with modification to the engine bay.

Hi!

Would you guys read my profile.

There is a question(s) about my friend's fabia 1.8T

If anyone can help, please do.

I am waiting for your private massages.

To continue:

So there is stock program on it but electrical parts like ABS, ASR, Air Condition doesn't work.

So anyone have ideas how to solve these problems?

haha, i will copy this to skodacommunity

WTF

Are the rear doors welded shut?

Holy Thread Revival Batman!

Part Deux :D

I am sure I read on a review of a Fabia vRS in Europe that it had a 1.4 16v petrol engine in it. I have bookmarked the page, but its on the other computer (I'm now on my laptop).

Yes this is a Holy Thread Revival, but I wonder why it is in the Photography section and not the Car or Fabia section?

Szilva: You need to plug it into a computer to read the error codes. This can be done at your local dealer or someone or garage with VAG-Com software with the appropriate leads.
