Your favourite feature?

Featured Replies

Just a carry on really from the "what would you like to improve on your Octy" thread, I just wondered what people's favourite features were on their Octys.

For me, sad as it may sound, my favourite feature is the fold-out bag handles in the boot.:o I've never had a damaged shopping load since the Octy like I used to in other cars when the food cascaded around the boot on roundabouts, bends etc. Followed by sunglasses holder (every other car I've owned, the sunglasses always migrated around the interior and somehow always managed to escape when I needed them, with a dedicated holder, they stay put. ) and the fold-out key fob.:)

What's your favourite?

Xenons for me Rob :)

2nd gear:rofl:  ...and i'm gone:D

Memory seats (but only if you have 'em)....

I like the "C" lights

Look better with silver/mirrored indicator bulbs?

My favourite feature? - Just it being a SKODA

The xenons when you switch them on and they do the self-level dip thing.

Yeah; must say that I like this; :D plus that the Xenons are 100% better for brightness and beam pattern than Xenons I had on an Omega in 2000.

Shopping bag hooks; economy; maxidot; cruise; handling on country roads; grunt; amount of carrying space for both pax & luggage; low emissions, so low tax rate on bik; this forum; and, yes, it's a Skoda!!!!

For me its got to be cruise control, and automatic headlamps and wipers...makes the long drives soo much more relaxing.

Also I noticed, when you go passed a bunch of people on the pavement...u can use the headlamp washers to spray them ;) Cool!!

My SWMBO loves the heated seats!

58 mpg :-) calculated over 419 miles (average speed 64mph, engine running about 7:05) Lying car said it was over 60 though....annoying

from Dundee to Northampton 1.9 TDI

No particular feature really, the whole car has so many nice little touches it would take ages to list them.

I won't ask what speed you were cruising at to achieve 64mph average. ;)

Slipstreaming them old lorries is good for the fuel economy :D

Sunglasses holder

Auto wipers

Smooth gearbox

Lively engine (even after only 200 miles!)

Maxi-dot

AUX Socket

.....shall I go on? (probably not)

Agree about the engine - even my non turbo 2.0FSI. When that lets go in the lower gears up around 4000 rpm, wow - that's plenty for me! [Running on 99 octane, that is.]

Never been in one so wouldn't know

Erm, well, an indicated 70 where safe and legal to do so
