Wtf is going on with the Pluspoints scheme? I have been trying to log on to my account this afternoon and it seems they are introducing a new format whereby you have to 'spend' your accumulated points by midnight 25th June and then start the new one! :thumbdwn:

The way I feel at the moment you can have mine!. Don't really know what's so special about them over the standard card to be honest apart from a few Ferrari & Ducatti bits you can get.

Just got my new card through with all the bumpf..... it appears that your plus points will be coverted to 'Driver Club' points if you want.

I have 400 plus points which will be converted into 533 Driver Club points

Its also seems easier to get points under the new scheme: 1 litre of fuel = 1 point, so obtaining 2000 points should be simpler than the old system of hitting your quarterly threshold :confused:

If you have a V power card you will get 2 points for every litre of V power you buy.

Also if you buy more than 200 litres pcm then you get 2 points per litre of any fuel in that same month.

Also 25 for a gold car wash and 15 for a gold jetwash. 1 point per

I think if you allow them to go to drivers club you can get them back in fuel vouchers.

I've got 5000 odd points in V-Power, but the new website says my balance is 61. I've never known how to redeem them, so looks like I have lost them. Oh well :(

I have the same concern/issue with the new Drivers Club. As a V-Power card owner I have no choice but to either spend the points earned up till now, or transfer the balance to the Drivers Club and select a fixed gift to save up for... Some improvement... not.

Oh, and to top it off, the Drivers Club account management website doesn't allow me to do anything other than log in. Teething problems or just an incentive to try BP Ultimate?

The old website refuses to accept my DOB and card number. I've just sent them a snotogram asking why.

Out of interest, how do you redeem the points? Might consider cashing in and changing supplier ...

I think you have to register your new card, recieve your password via email, then wait 48 hours till you can log on and select your rewards and tranfere your points.

I've done the registering (old card - VPower customers are not meant to need a new one), waited the 48 hours, logged in, but don't see any option to transfer points...

Well I received a reply to my snottogram today, written by somebody German, which answered one of my questions and totally ignored the other. I've replied in appropriate fashion :P

You can ask for your points to be transferred by phone or email, and it will take place in July.

I just tried to find out if there where any V-Power selling Shell stations near Hullavington and from there went on to check my balance on the new Drivers Club website. Turns out that they've emptied my V-Power Card balance, but not added it to the Drivers Club balance... Have fired off an email to question why, but not having big hopes...

Attempted to transfer my points to the new 'account' today... After about 20 minutes of 4rsing around trying to get it to recognise my account I gave up and threw both cards in the bin whilst 'effin & jeffin' and have decided to use my local Texaco which now sells high octane!

Not really. Near J16 on the M4 is one in Wootton Bassett (sp?), the other ones are further on the M4 corridor.

I can personally recommend the one in Wootton Bassett - since it's where I buy most of my petrol
