I think my mobile maybe a friday afternoon job

Featured Replies

I have recentely got a new mobile free so no money wasted. It's a Nokia 6234 with a 2 megapixel camera. I have just put the vids from our hols onto the computer to be able to view them properly and they are absolute pants. They are all blurry and I'm not sure if this is the right use of this word but they are all pixelated (to me this means lots of blurred squares on the picture like when your sky goes up the swanny). I'm not saying I feel it should be spectacular but I'm sure my even lower spec 6230i was better than this one I've got here.

Mr P has the same phone so I will compare quality later whe he returns from work. I have my settings set to highest quality for image and video clip quality. Still pictures seem fine

Pixi,

Give the on line firmware update tool a whizz as there might be a software glitch.

Fixed my phone up good, but it was a right mess before i did that.

Also worth asking do you have a memory card in the phone as the video setting arr sometime auto adjusting based on how much memory you have free.

I have no idea what you are talking about when you say firmware  :o I have bought a new bigger memory card for it and was wondering if it was the quality of the card (ebay) that was making it look carp as it's quite difficult to judge the quality as you are taking the video.

Still havn't had a chance to compare with Mr P's yet, but something aint right

The first time I tried taking photos with my Nokia, it came out really blurred.

Then I worked out I needed to take off the little piece of plastic that covered the lens to protect it when it was packaged. Doh!
