Please Guys And Girls..can You Tell Me What Colour Fabia Vrs To Get:

Yellow Or Black.....also If I Was To Go Into Skoda Showroom Would They Be Able To Get Me 1 With Leather Seats?? If So How Much Extra....much Appreciated.

You cant get new ones anymore! You may be able to get a Special Edition one with leather (if they are not all sold out) but they only come in Race Blue. If you want a Black or Yellow one with leather then you will need to buy 2nd hand.

i would get a black as i did but a pain in the a$$ to keep clean if you want leather either get it fittet by skoda for the rip of price of

Out of yellow or black i would choose black, silver is nice tho! If you buy one you can get the seats redone in leather privately, not quite sure how much tho.

Have to agree with the black choice, i almost got red and am very pleased i didnt, i got one second hand with leather seats already fited. Definately worth doing. My bro has a vrs with no leather and the interior is extremley difficult to keep clean!!!

Black looks incredible.

Get a black one cheap and retro-fit leather :)

Well both are a pain in the backside to keep clean, so I guess it's up to you which colour YOU prefer!!

HTH

Yep, my yellow vRS is a nightmare to keep clean too. My previous car was black so I've jumped out of the frying pan into the fire! lol

One thing I would suggest doing - drive along a busy road or motorway and take in the whole view - I bet all you'll see is a sea of silver, grey and black. If you want to stick out and bring some nice bright sunshine and joy to the road, get a yellow one. I love having a yellow car - it's a nice change from the usual.

Personally I'd have Yellow but I only really like the new bold/brighter version. Reminds me of my Punto :D

Yellow always makes me smile when I see a Yellow VRS, just not brave enough to own one thats why I got a Silver one. :D

maybe you should add a poll??

i say ge a black one

yellow

Cheers guys. Im still none the wiser. Looks like i want yellow but like someone said he wasnt brave enough to get 1. Hmmm still not sure. I know you carnt get brand new 1s but i was going to go to a skoda dealer and get them to pick me up a yellow 1. But bit of a girls colour..i think. Grrr Debate still on going.... Cheers neway peeps.

This is something that only you can decide. However to help...

Black - looks very nice but a pain to keep clean, and shows every little blemish

Yellow - even worse than black to keep clean!

Silver - the lowest maintenance colour. Stays looking clean for ages and hides marks/scratches well.

Red - looks smart when clean, and stays clean looking for ages.

If I were to buy one now, I'd go for silver.

It really depends on if you want the talking to die down

I bought a YELLOW VRS with my lump sum pension two weeks ago, the rest of the

guys and girls at work who bought new "other colour" cars have dwindled into the

background, and it is still "Jimbos" mean yellow machine that is talked about the rest forgotten Cool or what :)

Black cool but everyones got one

Silver ditto

Red ooooh shiney red like my last one

Yellow hey ho, I am now looking for some "cat" shades and a back to front baseball cap, but the caps all seem to be the normal forward facing ones

I love it love it love it, standard symphony no boogie box here

Regards Jimbo aka National

Seconded

I've a neighbour who swears I've washed the car every time he passes.

TBH, I clean the wheels inbetween full washes as the rest of the car always looks pretty clean.

Silver - unless you want to spend all your time cleaning it / want to get nicked / want boy racres trying it on / want to spend ooodles on all the fancy waxes etc.

+ it is a distinctive silver - Diamond is just about the right word to describe it as it stands out against other 'silver' cars.

Red, no contest ( says he with a silver one)

Red, no contest ( says he with a silver one)

And a garage full of detailing products - must be some sort of fetishist :P

I think (even) Mr Grumpy might agree Silver is so 'maintainence free', if you twisted his arm that is.

I still prefer red, although silver looks nice when clean ( and mine isn't this week)

Yellow or red, with black grill surrounds

They all look good. If you've got the bottle for it go for a Yellow one, as one of the previous post said, puts a smile on my face to see one of them. Reds also look surprisingly good.

Personally I've got a silver one, however that was more due to availability than personal preference.

Well i think it will end up being a black 1.....BUT i just know that a yellow 1 is going to pop up and before i know it im gonna av a YELLOW VRS sat on me drive way!! Thanks for feedback/support etc. You all have different views and silver is the best colour but whos ever heard of following sheep He says wanting a black 1...! Hmmm ill um n arrr and see wt happens. Ill keep u posted in relation to which VRS takes my eye. Cheers folks, much appreciated. By the way,is there a such thing as a Skoda meet up?? Or do we just gatecrash the VAG show at tatton park lol????

I would suggest that as you are only going to get one 2nd hand, and you are wholely undecided, How about buying whichever colour comes first , ( provided it is mechanicaly sound etc) , Then it will be a surprise which 1 you get . :D

I guess the other thing you may want to think about is resell. I wonder whether it is harder to sell a Yellow Vrs over a Black or Silver one? The market for people wanting Yellow ones is far smaller, however I guess they are more 'exclusive'

I'd have yellow , but I'd prefer 'Sprint' over 'Lemon' , that narrows down the potential pool of used vRS' to choose from , especialy as (when I look for one) I would want leather and CD Changer options as well. My second choice would be Red , Silver 3rd (ive had 3 Silver cars in the last 6 years) and Black last (coz its a bugger to keep clean , and I'd get annoyed after a few days seeing all that dust built up on it , even if it had never got rained on!!)
