Lumber Support

Featured Replies

Anyone else find that theres feck all difference between the on/off position of the seat lumber support.

There is a difference but it feels like a rear passenger is digging their knees into your lower back so I generally ignore that feature like I have on all previous cars :)

I dont notice much, if any difference either in my Elegance. I leave it set to what I think is the off position, but for all I know its the on one as I cant tell one end of the dial from the other.

Glad it isn't just me that can't tell what is on and off.

Thats exactly what it feels like. When I threw my my back out a few months back I did notice the difference.... It was much better "turned on"

This is of course on my Mk1 seat.

Personally I love the lumbar support...it really gives the back a bit more support. I kinda get a lazy back when I do alot of driving.

So with the elecy seats...u got alot more adjustments rather than just in and out, you got up and down. So i tend to find me just slightly adjusting it every now and again on long journeys!

On the MK I it was very good and noticeable, but not so on the MK II IMHO

Lumber Support

Not aware of this function on my VRs estate but could it be used for carrying logs? :)

I like it, without it my back ached , with it no pain, seems to work for me but you are right , it is a subtle difference.

Oh dear..............................

:nol2:

Yes, off = no support, mid = painful, full = back pain for all the next day!

Hence the reason I thought mine might be broken :)
