Milotec bumper vents

Featured Replies

I've been thinking about getting some of these:

Any opinions? Anyone fitted them? How scary is it cutting the bumper?

Really scary ;)

I've not got them, but what you should do is start with drawing the outline onto the bumper, then cut it out with a dremel a good piece smaller than what your hole needs to be. Then use a file/sanding paper to fine-tune the size. Nothing is worse than having a small section thats cut out to big and shows underneath the vent.

jimvrs has some on his yellow vrs.

Check his old thread in the for sale section

i like the look of them, will see the finished product when posted.

Of course it'd be a lot less hassle to get rid of the octy and buy a furby vRS instead with them already done.

And check a third time to be sure to be sure  , man I dunno if I'd have the balls to start cutting the car like that :o , best of luck with it.

They look very nice indeed.

Do they serve a function or are they purely aesthetic?

Looks good and a comprehensive pictorial how-to there aswell!

Mainly aesthetic - but the intercooler lives in the front of the bumper so it should vent it a little better.

And the air filter from my CAI lives in the other side (you can see it in the last pic)
