oilburninnut,

no it ain't mate.

BTW love your sig:)

I am starting to think cut me losses and run.

But, what else in a big way could go wrong bearing in mind that I still have 3 months warranty?

Cheers

Only 3 months warranty? I bought my vRS from Autosales Skoda in Bilston and got 12 months warranty on it (and they're fixing the rear door seals)..

Mine had 18k on the clock when I bought it and was no where near needing new disks and pads (although the tyres a little past their best now)..

Unless this one is a bargain, walk away and find another

Persoanlly I'd cancel the cheque, thank him for his time but walk away. As other people have mentioned, you don't know what else has happened to the car.

Well it's going to have a brand new Turbo fitted tomorrow, I have decided to go ahead with the sale after all.

Reasons...

He is just down the road.

Cheap with servicing etc.

Has not fobbed me off at all.

Nobody I have talked to has a bad word about him with the Skoda's they have bought from him.

I still got a good deal.

Thanks for all your posts that have helped.

DD

So would you still buy it or would you take him up on the offer of getting your money back???????

DD

Give it back and run:rofl:

Good Luck mate. Let's hope you have happy motoring from now on! :)
