has anyone bothered to drill out the front vent in the bumper or is there no point to it

I have the ABD racing CAI its stainless When I was cleaning the engine I noticed the pipe was very hot so drilled out the vent bit of a pointless job as my milotek vents are in the post lol, but it did make the pipe cooler after a run but its 30 in london at the mo and im struggaling with heatsoak and its noticable, I may do the drivers side wheel arch vent mod today but its minamal differance, FMIC needed ASAP for me I suppose lol.

couple of people on here have drilled or dremiled the vent out or go for the Milotec bumper grills.

drill out vent pr remove completely and do the arch mod... does make a combined diff esp on hot days.

What's the small pipe and filter coming out from under the inlet manifold?

oil breather pipe & end filter, it usually recirculates back into the inlet but carbonio do it this way.

I have this kit, love it! personally took a drill to the vent and did every gap i could, much cheaper and does the same job, on hot days when im out for a blast id jus pop it off completely.

I thought it might be. Works for me; I hate re-circulating breathers!
