Two months old (only) and 3850 miles already!! including two 9-10 hour 425 mile round trips for which I found the seats really comfy.

I thought my 10,400 miles were alot in 10 months until i read this post! :eek:

My Petrol vRS is now 14 months old and has done 23,000 miles.

2 litre TDI, two years old & 22K on the clock.

1.9tdi elegance estate, picked up 08 March 07, 3 miles on clock, today clock reads 17851. on variable, and still waiting for 1st service to come up.

Previous octavias mileages were:

2001, 51 plate- 82000miles in 1 year, gearbox/clutch replaced under warranty at

80000,

2002, 52 plate- 21000miles in 4 months, died after being rearended by dustcart !

2003, 53 plate- 112000miles in 18, again gearbox replaced under warranty at

101000miles.

2005, 05 plate- 76000miles in 1 year. PERFECT!!!!

2006, 06 plate- 68000miles in 1 year, DMF/clutch/gearbox again, all replaced

under warranrty at just 52000 miles.

Best cars I have ever owned, even with the gearbox probs!

MY JOB, TAXI DRIVER hence the mileages.

2 sets of front tyres 1 set rears and1 set of front pads.

Pretty good so far except fuel average 26 MPG, heavy foot and nice roads

new tyres all round

New brake pads on the front

Lots and lots of one litre top ups on the oil

Av' 46 ish mpg

Lots of admiring glances

A new switch for the brake lights

No one has taken the p1ss at all for having a skoda!

2 1/2 months old just over 3000 miles today

My last Octavia RS was sold to a friend after 2.5 years with 52k miles on the clock.

Current Octavia RS is almost 3 years old and has 54k miles on the clock.

4500 miles in 3 and half months, just taken three quarters of litre of oil (if you can say such a thing without the EU threatening sanctions!!).

1st one, 84,000 miles over 3 years

this one, 17,000 miles and its two years old in october. just had its first service today!

Well whats the point in having a car that can top 150 and not using it !!

Have seen over the 150 a few times (on autobahns obviously)

Still going well and today passed it's MOT after new brake discs and pads.

Ok, time for an update, Car is still going strong, has required new output shaft bearings in the gearbox, and replacement of the original Exhaust since this original post, Current Mileage 204,425 Miles......I use the Car almost daily, including towing an enclosed Car Trailer.

Oh, other failures, temperature sender, Flasher Switch, and CD Multi changer (not resolved).

It's amazing

coming up to 10k, mine should be getting 'run in' soon

Mine has done 191 miles. It's currently covered in snow so not much chance of it doing many more any time soon :no:

3.5 years in and only 14k miles, though some of those were going round - Hullavington track day, Castle Combe circuit and Silverstone GP circuit (TRAX)
