Mine was 9 months old and had done 46,000 miles

The silver bullet (Mk1 PD130 Octavia) had done 115,000 miles and was a fraction over 2 years old :D

Coming up to a year old (MKII vRS) and not used a drop of oil yet, that seems strange after all the reports of heavy oil usage. (Petrol).

'Tis the reason why I quit my job last month :(

It was getting silly what with navigating the dreaded "western section" twice a day

An average of 7 hours a day in the car with an 8 hour working day in between is not cricket.

I'm suprised you haven't got a backbrace by now with all that driving!! My back and A*se is normally dead with a long drive for over 5hrs!

Mine is 2yrs old in september, current mileage is 34K.

Truth is i've never even had so much as back ache in the Octavia, once I got used to the relatively narrow seats I was ok. I found the right hand seat base bolster was a little irritating for the first few thousand but it was fine after that.

The sports suspension got tiresome after a few months though so that's not been ticked this time round.

3 years 4 months old and 50k doing 13k myself in 10 months.

My vRS TDi is 1 week and 2 Days Old - 2900 Miles

Bit gay as i will have the car for 100,000 miles, and said id do 40,000 a year...

Might not be keeping it the 30months estimated if this rate of mileage continues...

Had my Vrs Tdi since Nov last year and i'm just coming up to 16k.

Bought 5th April 14,014 miles on clock.

Now nearly 20,000 miles on clock....
