hey guys i have a set of the octavia mats from skoda which are held in by 2 screw in holder thing. the annoyin thing is one of my friends got in the car and snapped one of them off. i went to skoda and they say the only way to get one of these is to buy the whole mats again. can anyone tell me where i might be able to get one of these on its own as it being broken is drivin me nuts

I'd be interested in this too, as I've had one missing from the driver's mat since I bought the car. I got the same response from my dealer. Been meaning to make a thread in the Items Wanted section for a while now.

They were missing from my car and a friend who works in parts at audi ordered them in. However there are different versions available, if you have a photo of what you need I will try to get the part no. for you.

Im probably miles off but this is what I came across on that online Etka thing.

I marked the mats with yellow and the clips with red.

Dont know if its the right mat but if you had the part number of the mat we could look for the clip under that heading. Actually I dont even know if the "clip" listed is the thing your looking for as it doesn't give a picture of it but its the closest I could find.

Is there anywhere else that would give a bit more detail as to what a part is if you give a number?

Check the clip itself sometimes it's on even the smallest of parts.

if you look at the mat part number 2 you can see the two eyelets where these clip things go. the clip is in two parts. 1 part screws into the floor off the car then you set the mat on top and then the other part of the clip locks into the bit into the floor. i cant see the part on that diagram but i hope what ive said helps

have these mats on my leon. BUT i don't have them in my octy elegance.. :confused:

they were an option that the dealer fitted to mine as part of the deal. its just really annoyn that 1 broke and i hate when stuff is damaged when its not my fault and i cant fix it

OK... I have had a look.There is no picture of the item in question but it is described as a clip and is also listed as part 2a,which would follow on from part part 2 which is the floor mats in the above diagram.

part number- 1u0 864 812 A 01C

satin black -clip

There is also a beige colour listed.Please contact me if this is the colour you are after as its a different part number.

I would give your skoda dealer this number and see if it is the clip you are after.

ok iam now quite sure its the clip your after as the quantity is listed a 9.

3 for drivers side

2 for passengers side

and 4 total for the rear.

Good news is they are as cheap as chips

They sound like the ones I'm after! I have a friend who works for Audi, so will see if he can get me some.

These clips maybe specific skoda items so if audi don't recognise number try skoda afterwards.

martin could you check again as on my mats the back ones dont have holes in them for these clips and the two front ones only have 2 holes each?

On my vrs it has 3 in drivers side 2 in the passengers side and the back ones have 2 each too.

Could the dealer have not bothered to fit the others?

hey guys thanks for helpin so far but my clips are different so im hopn wit this pic ppl will know the bit im talkin about. it seems similar to the other ones except in parts

the bit on the left locks into the part on the right and the bit on the right screws into the floor. thanks for any help
