the bit on the left locks into the part on the right and the bit on the right screws into the floor. thanks for any help

Ive never seen that type before.

Im going to a breakers yard to get a starter for my mates car, ill keep an eye open for Skodas with that type of clip.

these clips, i have the mats, but i don't have the floor bit, never have. Are they plastic and screw into the insulation?

I had a look and there are holes in the carpet but nothing under the insulation.

The clips are plastic with a very sharp point on the threaded end, these just screw into the carpet.

Did anyone ever discover a part number for these clips? My mats are missing them so it'd be great to be able to order new replacements.

Ok, one of my mat clips is broke, wondered if this is definately the right part number 1u0 864 812 A 01C I don`t suppose anyone has one of these spare do they? Thing is, my `local` main dealer is`nt, it`s about 15 miles away! Another thing is that the local VW and Audi dealers are a lot closer, can I get these from there?
