Hi what is the overall gain from CAI !

Is it noisy like some induction kits !

Also where it sits behind the bumper does the filter have shield around it as after a long drive in the rain i noticed some water had entered here in this space !

ABD is noiser than say the Dynatwist.

ABD inlet is behind head lamp....I have my inlet by the lower lhs grill.

Water input during rain is ok...you have to becareful if going through deep water though....

I'd say wait a little while as there's new developments a foot....can't say any more than that

ABD is noisy - but sounds great. Don't worry about water getting in - i've had mine for 9-10 months now and driven it through some of the most torrential storms i've even seen with no probs.

I went to Impossible Performance (excellent, really helpful and friendly) today and had the ABD TIP and ABD CAI and LAN fitted.

I don't think the induction is all that loud?

Maybe i expected more after comin from a gorgeous growling 5-cylinder car.

Certainly at cruising motorway speeds you don't notice it and it's only when you put your foot down and get to around 4,000rpm it seems to make itself known! Wouldn't say it was intrusive, the thing it makes louder is the dump valve! Really noticable now.

Certainly gives a performance increase, though can't say which it's due too. I'm sure the TIP has had an affect.

Did he have the TIPs in? Or did you bring your own?

as a suggestion, find a nice tunnel, drop the windows, slow right down into 2nd gear and nail it, youll hear what everyone else hears b4 you go past the sound
