What I don't miss how ever is not having power steering, ABS, central locking, a rear view mirror , heated seats, an alarm, electric windows, electric and heated door mirrors, a broken stereo and an over heating problem.

Why do you want the Octy shorter? The Mk II was lengthened to improve rear leg room, one of the selling factors for me. Is your garage too small :P

My drive is too short. The fabia fits easily, my A3 *just* fitted. I'd have had an Octy, but it would overhang.

Just what I was thinking.

... make custom fit seat covers with VRS logo's for the Octy Mk 1 VRS (could be quite a money maker for them)

... supply speakers that aren't made out of paper

... make gear boxes a little shorter (4th to 5th seems a long way for me)

... put a colour coded front grill on as standard (not keen on the Chrome surround when there's nothing else chrome on the car
