Was checking out this web site last night. Has anyone had any experiences from them?

They mention that the boost pressure is only increased pro-rata to other enhanced values. What does this mean in simple terms?

They mention their units are adjustable in one form or another for future mods.

Also the X-Kits look good. FMIC :D

I know their not that much cheaper than a Jabba. But its another option i'm looking for when i can afford more power.

Looking at our web links, Bromleys Tuning appear to have renamed themselves Tunit.

good company.. speak to sihorton he runs one on the rangey...

easily removable for "warranty" issues.

The tunit module on the rangey has made a massive differnce to it's performance, really impressive considering it weighs 2 tons!!

You can manually tweek the "blackbox" for more / less performance.

It also has not made that much differnce to my fuel economy

I got 375 miles out of 3/4 of a tank of juice towing the rally car, impresive stuff.

Very impressive.

What do you actually tweek on these units. Is it the timing?

i think it changes the boost pressure and the fueling, i assume so it doesn't start to run lean.

It certainly is quicker and it really kicks when the turbo comes in.

Cheers for the info Si.

I run a Td performance box www.tdperformance.co.uk. It does the same Job, but there is more smoke out of the back to the degree that people have stopped me to tell me that there is excessive smoke coming out of a new car.

This one is adjustable using jumper pins in the box, although it is apparently already set to max.

i had a lot of experience with Bromleys when i had my tuned Hdi. they are very helpful and the Tunit box is a good quick mod. it increases fuel and fuel pressure. but as far as i know it still doesn't affect turbo boost. they were working on a new box though that could alter more values like boost pressure. the boxes have moveable jumper pins and they can also be fine tuned on Bromleys rolling road to get the best performance for your individual car. warning though if you increase fuel pressure too much it can put the engine light on. Tom.

I have one on my Furby vRS. Just sent it back to be adjusted to suit the RS after running it in the TDi. I had it back within 24hrs with no charge :)

Power delivery is not as smooth as say a Jabba remap but they can be "lap top" adjusted apparently on a rolling road to get the best performance and adjust fuelling parameters etc..

Removal is dead easy..

Not that cheap though and I would go for a Jabba remap over a Tunit now although i'm not sure how much this "lap top" tuning makes.
