A lady at work has a 4 speed Impreza WRX engined genuine VW Camper van. Apparently it's pretty nippy

This is 660 cc, certainly wont be nippy

I'm guessing it should say 1600 as something that size with air con, etc wouldn't move with a 660cc N/A lump in it!

Chris

Thats not a VW its a Subaru!! Its a Jap Domestic market micro car/camper , so it will have a 660 cc engine (though it is probably turbo'd and intercooled) and it is 4WD. For reference it's probably the size of one of those little Suzuki vans. To get a genuine split screen camper in very good condition you would need to spend over

Great stuff! A tiny VW. I'll buy that and my mate with his Suzuki Cappuccino can drive along with me and play with people's minds - a bit like Dougal on Father Ted with the cows. Close by....far away...which is it? If I had a lot of money, I'd buy that just for a laugh. Mind you, I don't so I won't.

One of those... except they've put a new "VW camper" front on it, removing any form of air intake in the process!

I love those blue salad spinner rear drum covers. Could be my next mod. Oh wait, dammit, I've actually got rear discs

On topic, I put the subaru samber into google earlier and nearly fell off my chair at the ugliness of it. The vw front is actually a big improvement

WhAt A hEaP oF ****!!!!!

Looks like a ******** wiring job in the boot too, and I don't even need to start on the "bodywork"
