boost gauge

Featured Replies

fitted this today what do you think:confused:

its and auto gauge, boost gauge with a smoked face, looks blank with the power off and turn the key and it all comes to life, just like a defi gauge but much cheaper!:)

i decided to put it in the air vent but i used a carbon fibre plate to match the rest of the interior:cool:

i dont think its difficult anyone who can use a screwdriver should be able to do it,

it just depends on where you going to fit it, most boost gauges come with a bit of fitting kit like mine came with a t peice and vacum hose,

all you need to do it t of the vacum hose then wire in the electrics (mine had three wires)

how much would i get for the vent as thats in perfect condition?

wow, thats a beautiful gauge! id like a boost gauge in mine as a stand alone unit but i cant think where to put it. id like to put 2 in the ash tray in the front but cant think how to work it, stealth gauges!

Nice one:thumbup:

Looks good,i have my boost gauge in the same location and have oil temp and oil pressure below the radio and volt meter in the ash tray

Where did you bought the piece that holds the gauge and fits in the air vent?

It looks very good.

I have mine (boost gauge) fitted in a pod on top of the ignition cowling, it does not obstruct your vision or any warning lights etc. and it does mean you don't have to look too far out of your field of vision to observe your boost readings etc.

Oil temp, oil pressure and battery volts gauges are under the stereo. The oil temp and pressure are useful but the battery gauge is only there to fill the hole tbh!!

i brought it from halfords, they didnt have it in stock but it was in one of their boy racer catalogues to order

it comes with the hole cut and is 120mm x 150mm so can be cut to what size you want, i think the do it in just black too if you dont want carbon
