#46 and the hoofer

Featured Replies

Well, the British GP is almost upon us and no doubt there'll be a few for/against posts towards the late part of this coming weekend.

I'll be at the Nurburgring this weekend and hopefully watching the GP in the Grune Holle.

Lets hope it's a good race, whatever the outcome.

May the best man win:thumbup:

The best man did win and the fat bird is picking up the mic.

Yep, best man 'On The Day' won, cant argue with you there.:D...but...

The Fat Bird would be aswell sitting her fat ar$e down though, it aint gonna happen:D

Just my opinion of course.

Great race from Casey. Bit of an up/down race for some eg Vermullen

Btw We'll have to get a new section in here, the Anti-Rossi section. As at the moment we can't have a Motorsport Discussion about the race as we'll be see as Rossi lovers.

What was the name of the guy on the Kawasaki that passed Rossi?

I was gutted when he slithered off the track as he was having an excellent race

It would have been great for West alright.....maybe he was in a bit of a Daze, thinking about who he'd just passed

Yep, Anthony West. Great wet weather rider. He's taken Jacques place, as he's decided that test riding is a safer option!

Casey is unstoppable at the moment. He had a bad start but fought his way to the front & gapped Edwards. Reminds me of someone else that could do that!!

Rossi was disapponting, I have to say. He was very cautious at the start, & as soon as he looked as though he was gonna come back to front, he made a mistake. Chewed up his rear tyre trying to catch up again & had to settle for fourth.

Fair play to Edwards. Pole position & finished second.

I'm getting a bit fed up of saying this, since someone's determined to write Vale off, but we're still not half-way through the season (race 7 of 17).

Ken, I presume your pop is at me as I'm the one instigating the anti Rossi banter..............please try a little harder to see that there is both a serious and humourous side to numerous posts in these threads.

If you look back you will clearly see that I recognise Rossi talents and have not by any means written him off.

When your team scores you cheer and when mine score I'll cheer, that's just how it is.

Lance

Dont get me wrong, im all for seeing other people doing well in GP`s, but let us not forget the reasons why Rossi has the fanbase and status he has got.

There arent many records left he hasnt beaten yet and even they will no doubt go before he retires.

Last season he had been written off due to lots of bad luck, but in the end he lost by the smallest of margins that may never had happened if he either

1. beat Tony elias

2. didnt crash out on the last race

3. didnt have engine / tyre failure on about 3 of the races.

now i know this could happen to anyone, but once he has a bike under him working, he is always in the mix up front. If you think back to last year, haydon was about 50 points ahead at this point, casey is only 20 or so, only takes one DNF or crash and rossi to come first and bye bye lead.......

Its early days still, and never write off the doctor, he bounces back when you least expect it.

Lance, I say fair play to Casey, cos he's actually taking the fight to Vale. He's not proven over an entire race season however (well unless of course you know different), and doesn't have the same charisma as the Doctor, or even Capirex or Shinji.

I'm first off a fan of good racing, but excuse me for wanting to see a guy I actually like beat one that I'm kind of neutral about (a second for an Aussie bike racer; Chris Vermeulen got the first there).
