I was browsing on the internet at a very popular auctioning website and came across some hydraulic gas powered bonnet openers. They are similar to the ones on a Fiat Coupe. It says one flick of the catch and the bonnet will open smoothly. Just wondering if anyone else has attached these to their car.

Got them on my Octy vRS from the same seller, and very quick delivery.

I have a set which I'm in the process of fitting. The only problem is the ball joints need adapting as the don't swival round enough. Bascially the lip of cup needs filing away.

The other way is to grip the ball joint in a vice and gently tap it over slightly to one side, that way you dont file a way the cup of the socket..

I got milotek ones, bolt str8 on no modding needed.
