Who said it was a 'laughing matter'? It's inconsequencial that he died as frankly driving at that speed through a toll booth he deserved the consequences. Have you considered what might have happened if he had made it through?, an innocent motorcyclist, other car passengers or even worse should he have managed to get off the motorway!.

FFS - the guy had a heart attack and was dead as he approached the booth Why do you think there was no attempt to brake or steer? The patrol just happened to be in the area...

I feel sorry for the guy in the toll booth - assuming they're not automated, I'd say wouldn't have survived. :(
