I have to agree completely with what Sam says... similar to the relationship I have with my Passat. I absolutely love it, except how it looks... I think when you and the Superb part company you will miss it sorely.

With the feedback from this thread and the potential next modification, Service, MOT and tax it may well be staying for a few more months....

For a yard stick for you Simon, I was offered 6k yesterday for mine against an 11k car, shes an 04 Comfort DTi auto in good condition full service history 6 mths MOT with 58k on the clock, car valuation says anything from 6-8k for mine.

BTW, I saw a car with S11BKR on it the other day, bloody Porsche of all things.

So your moving on then from the Superb.....know you have had problems withh it and that's a shame as 'tocuh wood' I have had little.....

I was originally going to go with S21 BKR as that's my hockey shirt number but the less numbers the better to make it look like a personal reg IMHO.......I am sure my reg would have looked better on the Porsche and evern better if I had been driving it....LOL!!!

I am sure it could mate but with my mileage ar 135k and counting I don't think that 'stressing' the engine out is a good idea? Would be nice but I am happy with it as it is.......it's running well......touch wood!!

I'd have thought the diesel engines would be good for 250k plus. Go on, get it chipped. Mines pushing about 200bhp, and it's great fun it straight line. Covering Ch avs in soot is a great feeling.

I am sure the engine will be good for that mileage but would you remap or chip one with 135k on if it was yours.........I would think probably not.......would be nice but like I say I am happy with what I have at the moment....
