Baker21's Superb.......how Much Could I Get For It?!?!?

Featured Replies

Been thinking about this a lot lately and I am thinking of selling the Superb.

I know that Fluffy had a similar thread asking how much he would get for his but when you have modified it it's hard to price it fairly....so I thought I would gauge people's opinions?

Spec is as follows:

Skoda Superb 2002 (52) PD TDI 130 Comfort,

OEM DX Sat Nav,

OEM Xenon's,

Privacy Tinted Windows,

KW Variant 1 Coilovers,

Stubby Aerial,

19" ASA AR1s with 235/35/19 Kumhos or 17" Solid's with 225/45/17 Pirelli P6000s,

Original Registration Plate to be put back on car.

Full Skoda / VAG Service History,

Taxed and Tested,

135k - Mainly Motorway Miles,

Always kept clean and maintained:

That's the key question though.....what is the 'right price'?!?!?

I'd hazard a guess at between 5-6k? I'm waiting to hear about finance on a 1.8T Comfort on an 03 plate with 80k on it, and that is retailing at

Thanks mate! Also, you can prob answer my other question. Total closure, does the comfort have this? i.e all windows close by pressing and holding key fob?

As far as I am aware.....no.....but you can hold the key in the drivers side door lock and it will open or close all the windows respectively.

Thanks! Good luck with the sale!

Chris

My 2005 05 superb comfort has total closure and if you hold the unlock button it opens all windows as well.

Must be a later model thing then because mine doesn't....

Would you be selling it as it is Simon...or putting it back to standard.

You'd still get a lot for those ASA's and you could put your winter wheels on to sell it??? Still a Superb diesel at the end of the day.

I reckon you could get 5K....you have got a few miles havent you!!

I'd say

Try selling it on a car enthusiasts site like Pistonheads, where the buyer will be aware of the love and attention you've put into the car and may offer you slightly more for your ride.

Generally speaking, it will fetch more money and sell quicker standard.

Then you could sell the parts on here.

What're you looking to replace it with?

I think I would rather sell it as is purely because it's easier and I don't have the original suspension anymore.

I understand that a standard Superb may sell easier but who would want to buy a high miler Superb?

I was thinking of putting it on Piston Heads and testing the water so to speak as it's free and see what the interest is...

Don't want to say until I have the price confirmed back but if it's feasible then I may well just get it done and keep the car........I will update things more when I know more........
