Favourite mod/extra?

Featured Replies

Hi Everyone

Being new to Fabia ownership i would be interested to hear what everyones favourite mod/extra is for their fabia.

Not necessarally talking about remap or uprated suspension etc, more little things that people have found make driving and owning their car more enjoyable or easier.

Top site btw. Lots of v useful info

i think most of the favourite mods will be suspension related , i.e. Jabba rear ARB

REMAP! Most definately the best mod. Followed by exhaust, stereo then suspension.

surely the remap can't be your favourite mod at the moment

A week or two without a car is nothing compared to almost a year with all that power  And the remap wasn't really to blame, I didn't get an FMIC when I had the chance :(

For me in order -

1 Rear ARB.

2 Remap

3 312mm Brakes

4 Front Strut Brace

I hear Koni FSD's are good on the Fabia, certainly are on my Octy.

FSD's are fantastic with the standard 16" wheels. Bit harsher with 17's

Jabba rear ARB is by FAR the best mod for the Fabia.

Next best for bang for buck is definitely a remap. :)

jabba rear anti roll bar for me to

it is a must

I agree...... they make the car more fun to drive and also allow you to make the most of any power gains..... no point having lots of power that you can't control...... oh.... also 312 conersion..... love the feel they give to braking  hummm ......all mods are good :D

1. 312mm with fluid and decent pads - Better pedal feel plus you can get better pads

2. Jabba rear anti roll bar - Decreases understeer + makes it more adjustable

3. Xenon alighnment - I can see

4. Sub - Nothing like 33hzs

5. Ipod interface - Lots of music

6. upgraded front speaker - Better midrange and less treble

7. sound deadening from doors - as above

How about F48 VRS on the front and back?;)

You're forgetting the all-important first mod

A Briskoda member sticker !!

i would say my vanilla magic tree ;)

Don't forget the brakes!

What does the rear ARB really add to the drive? Is the front ARB worth doing? Found at speed the turn in is not as I'd like, maybe the steering needs to be made a little heavier through VAG com? Find that on the motorway I dont need to steer much to change lanes/'drfit' a little!

My favourite was the Touareg cigarette lighter torch. It's so useful.

Also, colour-coding the front grille really changed the appearance of the front end.

I think the stripes on my car is the best mod that I have made to the car, simple but effective.

Remap

Eibachs

Brakes

Rear ARB

I would struggle to put the above in order tbh! :)

And of course, a Cupra front splitter !

my first personal mod to my furby when I got it was giving it a nickname!!

Spec wise

Cruise Control wins it hands down

Mods wise

1. Remap

2. The clutch the Remap needed ;)

definately removing the sidestrips lol no the remap is amazing and the pd160 made a big difference in my opinion anyway

It's been covered lots, but basically the rear ARB sharpens up the front end - no more (or at least a lot less) understeer!
