Has anyone seen the Silver Mk1 Octavia vRS they have in at the moment? I might be interested in taking a look at it, but they're quite a way away from me.

check the underneath, i was looking at 2 mk 1 vrs's at another skoda garage nearby and all looked great (apart from the seats worn) till i looked under the car and saw how bashed and scrapped it was.

I'd double check that mileage too...... seems a little low for the year, check for signs the dashboard has been tampered with, worn seats, worn pedals/gearlever ect....

edit: if they're a long way off, ask (before you go look) if they have old MOT's to prove mileage

I bought this car! Collect tomorrow - seems a good genuine one compared to a few I have seen. The only thing I could mark it down on was condesation in an indicator lens, and slightly frayed drivers seat. Bought from Grey Gables, serviced there every 10k. The owner traded it against a new vRS.
