Featured Replies

as there is a group buy just some info im looking for, does anyone have this dv, recommend? how much louder is it than standard? how easy is it to fit? any parts required? does it work better fitted as it should or in reverse?

cheers all

Kenny, do a search on Forge, Forge DV007 or just dump valves. There's loads of info on the site already :)

I've got one, I have PM'd you kenny. Reccommend the DV007PA.

Or you could read my review Kenny.

Reccommend the DV007PA.

 i too would certainly reccomend this DV, it is more suitable to the 006 as it adapts better to future mods; i.e chip and exhaust changes........easy to fit once you have removed the original...new jubilee clips are a must though:eek:

The turbo fires up far quicker with this Dv and to me it is the first mod; to do

Kenny:

DV location as shown in the photo. This one is right way up (albeit the OEM DV). See diagram for normal and reversed orientation.

brilliant, cheers mate, does it really make much difference fitting it in reverse?

Dunno - haven't tried. Paul says it does tho, and he's the king of bling!

Our old friend Mr Tam can tell you all you need to know about DVs - and the whys and wherefores of fitting them in reverse.

Thanks Mike - couldn't lay my hands on that link - tis indeed well worth a read, Kenny.

Kenny - Have a chat with Paul (Monkey Boy) he had a Forge DV in his glove box on Sunday, he ran it for a while but preferred the noise of the Bailey so put the Bailey back on, if you ask nicely he might sell it to you :)

Is that all it's about? Boy racer noises ... sheesh! :P

DV arrived and fitted this morning in about 20mins.

Really simple, good advice from Nick about putting washing-up liquid on the hoses, they just slide straight on.

Just went for a quick drive round the block.

Seems quiter than the standard one as it's building pressure, but the noise as you change is definately louder :D

Mine has never made any noise at all .... that I can hear.

Mine's ordered, should be here next week sometime. Looks like a busy easter holiday this year ;)
