Hi everyone.

Octavia 1.9 tdi 90bhp. Recent turbo fitted been running fine, when fitting new alternator today noticed oil leak from top of the egr valve on inlet manifold, looks like its coming from the hole on the housing just under the diaphram. Everything was cleaned thoroughly, could it have been damaged by the amount of rubbish that was in it when the turbo went.

Thing is i didn't think oil should be there anyhow:confused:

Any ideas welcome.

I've seen a few of these EGR's leaking now. I think Skoda replace them if it's under warranty.
