SkodiRS' Mazda RX-8

Featured Replies

Since we got SWMBO a 7seater MPV we didn't really need another large car. So I got rid of my Audi A6 S-Line and got a....

....Mazda RX-8 231.

It's Winning Blue and has the leather interior. Personally I think this colour really suits it.

Got a good deal with the dealer...they actually gave me money back on part-exing the Audi.:D

Sounds interesting on start up but, to me, almost has a 6cylinder sound to it on acceleration. Ride/handling compromise is very good.

Peformance is good although I 'm still running it in. Got to keep below 7krpm for the first 600-1k miles. Then it'll rev to 9.2k.

Consumption hasn't been that bad as yet...and I've yet the need to check the oil but...I'm prepared for those.

Insurance worked out to be only about

15891.attach

Lovely motors. I really enjoyed the PZ I test drove.

The interior is particularly nice!

Enjoy it Adrian!!

(You made the right choice - sod a poxy A3! )

Nice one Adrian, like those a lot. Will be good to hear how you find the oil consumption :)

Looks fantastic.

As Len says, keep an eye on the dip stick

mmmmmmm

Nice, but after having to work on them for a while my views are somewhat tainted..lol

Oww nice choice.

Cant say ive seen one in that colour before but its a nice choice

Very nice.

Good move:D

:iagree:

One thing though - dont ever think about starting it to move it a short distance - I have been known to push mine forwards 8ft to let SWMBO out of the driveway.

Nerr nerr...... my spoiler is bigger than yours ;)

For now......;):D

The MazdaSpeed spoiler is very nice (and very expensive)

Youll probably find that the mazdaspeed stuff is re-branded from another manufacturer (and double the price) so you just need to find out who makes it originally

Lovely looking car :D
