Ultimate Detail?

Talking about attention to detail... :)

Wasn't he using a sponge?

That is awesome. I have seen it before but still watched it again.

I wonder what he would charge for at Octy vRS.

he wil even drop everything to come and clean off bird cr@p wherever you are:eek:

i'd clean your bird crap off for the prices he charges!

I noticed him using a sponge and liberally sweeping the paintwork with it, which unless I am mistaken, is a primary cause of swirl marks. However, I guess if you're then using a mechanical polisher to polish them all out immediately afterwards it wouldn't matter too much, although I can't but help thinking how many of his washes would be needed before the paint is worn away?

obviously we as regular car owners know better thana trained professional that does premium work

As we normally do.

I think he uses a clay sponge?

Like they said though the products he uses cost a fortune and sometimes it takes a couple of days to do a full detail like that

i think its a zymol sponge which has a tighter structure than normal sponges and is quite soft. Havent a clue as to why it wont cause swirls though

I've known far too many "Professionals" in a number of trades that do worse job than I could have done. :) Don't discount the knowledge of an enthusiast.
