the best glass cleaner ?

Featured Replies

whats the best glass cleaner ? used turtlewax on sunday and my windscreen looks rubbish again.

malt vinegar and old newspaper does the trick, plus you can also stick it on your chips too

I've always used Auto Glym Glass polish for good results

:iagree: - I tend to give the glass a once over with some claybar that's getting past it's best. Lubricate with some QD as you go along, dry off, then a coating of AG GP :)

The some Aquapel over the job. A top job, well done!

I like AG glass cleaner too, only 2 dislikes about it, 1, it smells like hair dye, that ammonia peroxide smell, goes away when dry tho :D and 2: it goes very powdery when buffed off, if you do it last then I have to go and give the car a dusting afterwards.

Have to say, when I tried it I found it to be utter ******** - left my windows smeary and the car stank of vinegar.

I found that normal domestic window cleaning products work best (my product of choice is Nilglass).

Meg's NXT Glass Cleaner followed by AG Glass Polish. :)

i use to use a foam spray in a green can by a not widely known company to do my windows with, it was quick easy and did a great job (plus cheap to buy) havent seen it about for a while. if i can find out what its called i will post it here.

Meg's NXT Glass Cleaner

Another vote for this stuff from me - best I've used so far.

Topped off with Aquapel of course!

Stoner Glass Cleaner for me or Einzett Glass Polish.

Saying that it is AG Fast Glass I carry in the car!

tesco own brand ,been using it for years, good stuff and about 20p

I've got some Autoglym Fast Glass at the minute and am very impressed with it:thumbup:

I use Megs NXT - very quick although difficult in direct sunlight.

I like the old pink windolene liquid.. its amazing stuff!

I use a clay bar on my glass first, gets rid of all the crap.

i use a basic glas cleaner from halfords. does the trick inexpensively then apply some rainex
