From within the car, passenger side kinda glove compartment area, i have cleared the compartment out, driven with the comparment door open and closed, checked the screws underneath the compartment which hold the foam thing up and i cant find where this annoying noise (which as started in the past few days) is coming from. The only solution is to pump up the volume and drown it, but not much use when aunt mabel is in the car.

Try pressing the area just between the centre top dash cubby hole and the Radio surround. I find that on really hot or really cold days this sqeeks etc. I think its the cubby hole compartment movin about.
