First time posting! Hi everybody.

I got an Octy 1.9 T. Its not bad but I am sure it could be a better drive. The powers there if you keep the throttle down and don't let it off completely when changing up to the next gear.My son has a Passat with the same motor, when he had it serviced they changed the throttle position switch chip, it now drives like a dream.

Any ideas if this can be done with the Octy, I know the engine ICU can be rechipped but i don't want to change the whole thing dramatically just smooth it out a bit.
