Last night the wife put my four month old metalic blue Skoda vRS into the garage and scratched the drivers side wheel arch!!! It now has three 3 inch scuff/scratches along the top lip of the wheel arch and has also deformed it very slightly.

I have called Farmers Skoda in Leicester and they are going to quote me for repairing it on Saturday morning.

A couple of questions, has any one else done this before and if so how much did it cost to repair?

And also the blemishes, will they fill them or will they replace the whole wing, (obviously it is a bit difficult to say without seing the actual damage).

To say I am absolutly gutted would be an understatement!!! Please someone put me out of my misery and tel me it won't cost an arm and a leg as I don't really want to claim on my insurance.

I might be tempted to approach an approved repairer directly and see if you can't get a decent price, possibly even for cash.

As you say it has deformed it slightly, I would say that it will definately be filled and painted. I work in an accident repair centre and the products and procedures we use are excellent now.
