Tyretraders - anyone used them?

Featured Replies

Not heard of them myself.

The Falken site has them at

Housemate has the 512 and they are pretty good for a generic tyre.

I wouldn't use them on something that has a good turn of performance, but only because I wouldn't use any cheaper tyre on a car like that.

Thanks for the replies - I didn't see Stuart_Js post in time, so didn't try them. In the end I gave tyretraders a shot, seeing as it worked out at 36 quid a tyre including fitting locally. I'll let people know how I got on.

Cheers

For the record, I'd thoroughly recommend them. Dealt with them over the phone as well because they delivered them too early and they were more than helpful. Really cheap too!

Out of interest, where did you get them fitted and did they do a good job?

Steve

I used them when my Mk1 needed new rubber, had 4 Falken 452's delivered straight to a local tyre fitter and were done on the day I had arranged with no problems at all. I will be doing exactly the same when my mk2 needs new boots.
