What optional upgrades available?

Featured Replies

For the fabia? things like drinks holders that come out the side of the stereo etc etc?

on the subject of the drinks holder, is it possible to buy the one that ejects out the side of the stereo and fit it to one that doesnt have it?

Loads of pointless fripperies to waste your money on:D

I believe dependant on the age of your car, the sidey cuppy thing can be fitted.

You can also get an armrest that interferes with the handbrake.

A slidey outey thing that eats your change.

And stickey on things for your wireless surround that look rubbish and come unstuck.

The list is endless......

2004, can it be fitted to your knowledge?

My knowledge is extremely limited....

I understand the sidey cuppy thing involves cutting of the dash, and only to be undertaken by proffessors and aeronautical engineers.

The sticky on bits can be adhered by naughty schoolboys and middle aged idiots like myself though:D

Although my car is sticky bit free.

I am sure, in time, someone who really knows what they are talking about will help you out.

Lovely weather for the time of year isn't it?

I'm not aware of any problems with fitting the cup holder and I don't think there is any cutting of thae dash required.

It's held in by two screws and when you get it the fitting of it should become obvious.

There is a storage drawer which fits under the radio and replaces the cubby hole, again a simple fit.

The armrest isn't available in the UK.

The side cup holder is an absolute piece of p1ss to fit.

There Ya go!

I keep getting told I am useless, and I have just proved it:D

It won't fit with the VW sat. nav. thingy though, or will it?

AFAIK it's that big it fills the entire available space, if it does fit I may have to invest in one.

If you mean the MFD Graham then yes it should fit mate.

Whatever would us Numpties do without you:thumbup:

I would go and have a proper look, but it's persistent with rain, and the cold lager has started its siren call...........:D

I have the Seat Arosa cupholder. Cost me

i think the skoda one that comes out of the side is about 30 odd quid a bit pricy when you can have the seat one for a bit more, then you can have two drinks,

The Seat/VW cupholder (pictured above) is more robust than the skoda pop-out cup holder. Dont even get me started on Z4 cupholders. Rubbish!

There are a few accessories that fit between the different VAG brands. I think people put VW PHateon parts in Superbs (some interior light kit I think)
