Just realised I have not got those light deflector things that you are supposed to have when driving on the continent do I really need them?

have you got the mk1 or mk2 octavia if you have mk2 use this guide i did here as they have a converter inside the headlight unit

Cant help with a guide then. But i know loads of people who dont bother changing the lights. However i wouldnt condone this as the EU Nazi's that a lot of the police are towards the english (especially the French!!!) can fine you for not doing

Sod 'em, I just don't bother Maybe if I thought I'd be driving a lot at night time. I do however have a template and some sticky tape in the glove box just in case.
