Liverpool-Lad, i think it too, but can't find anyother mark on car, somebody can explain me the origin of the car?

Thanks

Alvaro

I thought so as well, and suspect if they're not, the answer will lie somewhere on that big (about 100mm each way) paper label in the boot, under the carpet.

Alvaro, if you can PM me the whole VIN number of the car (the one that starts TMB) then I maybe able to get the location of manufacture.

A 2007 Mk1? How strange.

Anyone got a similar VIN list for pre-2001 cars?

Not really, the A4 is still in production for the European taxi trade, and for a number of non-European markets.

found this link on here a few weeks ago, just type in your vin no. and you find out every thing about your car, ie where, when it was built, engine type, output etc,and all options fitted during manufacture. Quite bizzare why an oil shop website would have this info?
