Ariel

Featured Replies

Does anyone know how to change the ariel on my octavia II, I want to use one of those short aluminium ones but dont know how to do it? I went to to my local dealers Bickertons of Sheffield and they said they didnt know they just know its an anti theft ariel.

So if anyone can help:thumbup:

Undo the aerial top in a anticlockwise direction until it becomes loose and then pull on the aerial really hard. The idea is you need to break the anti-theft barb.

We find the screw-caps on bottled Ariel really stiff, much easier to use the Ariel tabs or sachets and a lot less messy too.

Didn't know it came in an aluminium version...

There's always one...

Lol - you couldn't have made that up....

I wouldn't have had the bottle to cap that, but that's sud's law!

Still it'll all come out in the (Car)Wash.

Ariels are cool, aren't they (although some prefer Vincents) :P

How soaper we're getting into a lather about this.... :o

My fav Ariel

English is a stupid language. If everything was spelt phonetically I'm sure we'd get on a lot better!

Yeah but where is the fun in that?

270 BHP Lummox ? That's almost twice my unadulterated Octy - what does it do 0-60MPH in a sneeze ?

Wheelspin would seem to hinder a sneeze 0-60...lol.
