Featured Replies

New to the site, and asking for a mate who has just bought a fabia 05 plate.

Hes looking to get a new set of wheels, 17s or 18s.

So just wanting people to post pics of their fabia if they have these size wheels on please.

Can you stsate what wheels they are and how much your lowered by, if you are.

I had a look in the wheel archive but theres not much there, and alot of the pics dont even show up.

cheers:)

anyone please

This was mine lowered 60mm+ on FK coilovers, using 17" VW wheels. Had some rubbing issues, and since my Brembos and new suspension has gone on, I've raised it up so it's around a 40mm drop now. :) Was uber-low though, but perhaps a little too much.... :thumbdwn:

any chance of someone resurrecting the alloys thread so that all the pics work?

great idea that would be, theres not enough pics of fabias on different rims to look at, thats sort of why i was asking for some pics on this thread

G'day,

I too am new here, my fabia vRS is on 18"'s with tyres 235-35-18, there is no rubbing on mine

I have 17" wheels dropping 70mm and I get a tiny bit of rub from the plastic liner on the front right.

235's - are they not 215's??

check out my signiture link and you'll see my car on 16's, 17's and 18's.

Can you fit 17in wheels to fabia vrs without lowering, and if so what wheel width and tyre size.

mine on 18's

with 70mm drop - rubbing on front left arch liner

it's been raised now to avoid the rubbing cos no combination of spacers i tried made any difference

Cheers

Gez, any chance of seeing your car and discussing wheels ard tyres and lowering, Ilive in Bridgend so we could meet up.

We have a meet in Cardiff first Saturday of every month which I go along to. I think the next one is planned for next sunday but I'll be at Trax then.

If you want ease of use and the slammed look, I'd recomend 17's with coilovers or a 40mm drop. If you go this low however, you'll probably want an alloy sumpguard!
