I dont know if i'm stating the obvious here but while flicking randomly through the free channels on Sky i came accross the Audi channel (channel number 884). If you haven't already seen it then i'd recommend you check it out. It has loads of programs about each of the models and the designers and innovators.

I found the program about the Le Mans 24 hour car really interesting. Aparently IIRC Audi were the first to enter the Le Mans in a purpose built TDi racing car and they have won it with this car for the past 2 years on the trot (maybe more but thats all i saw).

The car was awesome, it had about 650bhp and about 1200 Nm of torque and weighed only 975 kg. They even showed it racing a Harrier jump jet from a standing start over a mile and even though the jet was airborn for alot of the mile it only won by a cars length.

Seriously though, its compelling viewing this Audi channel, the A5's, R8's, R10's and RS4's are awesome to watch, wonder if i'll ever get to drive one!

But some of the presenters leave a lot to be desired....
