I am trying to locate a vRS airbag module for my newly acquired lovely three spoke steering wheel:).

The trouble is,every breakers or parts dept requires the part number for this item:(.

Any ideas how to obtain this?

Lummox,that part number is apparently incorrect as it should begin 1c0 909 - - -:confused:.

Any ideas?

I'd be suprised if it should start 1C0 as you have a 1U Octavia.

Very well,seems these parts people are as inept as most 'shop assistants' one meets these days.

Why is it nowadays everything is so difficult?

I remember many moons ago,when I was seriously into Minis,I used to go to the parts dept,to be met by an old fella who knew ALL the part numbers off by heart,and within an instant provided you with the correct part.No problems,no mistakes,just as it should be.

Now that was service.
