Got a VRS....

Featured Replies

What mods should i do first, that aint costly, or whats the best mods to do.

I would trawl through here but i might get a quicker answer straight off!!

Cheers!

All depends on what you're after. Remaps tend to mean insurance goes through roof rather sharpish, so check that out for sure.

Non-power increasing mods tend to be very low increase in premium, but really improve your enjoyment of the car, such as improved suspension, rear ARB (Jabba).

A remap is deffo a nice one too :) if the insurance is sorted :)

I don't think I'm going to bother modding mine just yet - it's pretty perfect as it is! :D

Well this is it, im not wanting to mod it as ive wanted one for ages, and i like very very much in standard guise.

We get a few that come into work that are modded, and they seem to be in and out like yo-yo's!

EDIT!! Its the standard ones that seem to be a bit yo-yoish!

If the car is modified with some sense there is no reason for it to be in/out of the garage more in particular. Unless you get unlucky..

Thing is, the clutch can't handle much extra torque, so the maps has a big involvement.

Read my above post!

We have got one in at the mo with brake problems, 1st press of pedal is very soft, second and any after that seem fine!

Back to the post though...

I might leave it standard for now, and just see what it goes like, im not bothered about the torque, its more handling, a la Jabba ARB's!

The general opinion is that the Jabbasport rear arb is the essential mod for the Fabia vRS.
