Old 'fettled' vRS vs new vRS SE

Featured Replies

I was going to write a definitive comparison test between mine and the wifes.

But I can't be bothered.

One is faster, handles and stops better.

The other one is blue.

Will that do?

Very informative Graham.

So which is best?

In reality it is hard to say.

For commuting and shopping, definately the unadulterated one.

It rides a lot better, is quieter, and is a lot smoother to drive, hence more relaxing.

For a 'spirited' drive, mine is a lot faster, with better handling, although the ride is spoiled by oversized wheels ( and crap tyres ). it also stops hellish fast, making late braking de rigeur.

My leather seats are far slippier than hers as well, which can be a tad disconcerting when whanging around corners...

Hopefully by Christmas, Eibachs an FSD's ( and decent tyres ) should sort the ride out..
