Gonna go with the dealer quantum syntra 10w 40 oil just got to decide which plugs now..!!!

Denso Iridium plugs in my Octy vRS.

The part number for the plugs is IK20, (gapped @ 0.8mm).

Guy, at Opie oils supplied the plugs at a very good price, for my vRS, YZF 750R and the wifes KA.

Opie oils have said that Denso Iridium Tough VK20Y's should be fitted to a modded Octy vRS ????????????

i wouldn't bother changing plugs unless you've done turbo/IC etc, just a remap i'd stick with standard ones

Std ngk plug can cope right upto 250-280 so i wouldn't spend to much

ngk oe plug is pfr6q or pfr7q for a slightly cooler plug for higher temps.

As for the 10w40 if running 1.3-1.4 bar i would be inclined to put a higher spec eg

10-30 5w40 fully syn for better protction at high temps
