Yeh i was going to say try some v power diesel and see if it smokes after a few tanks.

Yeah my next move is till fill with shell v-power, run through some millers power sport and replace the standard filter with a pipercross one. Fingers crossed that should ease the black smoke out of the rear.

Flat Battery in Key Fob - Warning

My recent (non-Skoda) cars have given dashboard warnings when the battery in the key fob runs down. This gives the driver the opportunity to change the battery and to keep the key functional. The battery in my Superb's key fob recently ran down, and it went from fully operational (working the button "plip" as well as the keyless entry) to completely flat during the course of a day at work. I'm looking at a 2020 Kamiq SEL as a second car, which has the fairly rare 'adaptive' cruise control (not 'predictive adaptive'). I've had mixed experiences with ACC on two Citroens. My recent C5 has it, and it works great and very smoothly so long as you remember that all it really does is keep you on station with the car in front and stop you running into it.
